Lamborghini Teases 2025 Urus Hybrid SUV

As we reported on our first report on the 2025 Hybrud Urus, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has now officially teased its upcoming plug-in hybrid version of the Urus SUV in the company’s official magazine. The teaser image showcases the rear end of the Urus Hybrid, indicating that the angular styling has been retained but with some subtle changes.

Exterior and Interior Upgrades

The teaser reveals an integrated rear spoiler and we’re told the hybrid Urus will also feature a new hood, front and rear bumpers, and grille for a refreshed look. Inside, buyers can expect a larger 12.5-inch touchscreen, new interior color options, and trim materials, an updated instrument cluster, and added ADAS safety technologies.

Plug-in Hybrid Powertrain

Details remain unconfirmed, but rumors suggest the Urus Hybrid will use a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric hybrid system to produce around 800 horsepower combined. This would make it the most powerful production Lamborghini ever. Sources say the plug-in hybrid setup could allow over 30 miles of electric-only driving range as well.

More Details Coming Soon

Lamborghini is expected to fully unveil the Urus Hybrid soon enough before sales begin in early 2025. Pricing and fuel economy ratings have not been released, but the hybrid model should command a premium over the standard Urus, which starts at around $230,000. The teaser indicates Lamborghini’s electrified future is just around the corner.
