Ferrari News - FERRARI is NOT Arrogant!
In typical Lamborghini VS Ferrari fashion, we couldn't expect any different outcome. Right after Lamborghini made the statement that they will embrace the EV/Hybrid era, Ferrari news dropped as CEO Benedetto Vigna chimed in & told the BBC that he won't be "arrogant" & impose a singular choice on his customers. He emphasized the importance of allowing buyers to decide whether they prefer a gas-guzzling Ferrari as it was since the beginning of time, a hybrid, or an electric car.
While this customer-centric approach is welcomed & appreciated by Ferrari enthusiasts, regulatory bodies may not share the same sentiment as regions like California or the UK (Where Ferrari sells the most) plan to ban the sale of ICE cars by 2035 without granting any exception not even for e-fuels.
Recognizing the regulatory challenges, Ferrari has started diversifying its vehicle lineup over the past couple of years. As we know Ferrari has already introduced, produced & sold hybrid models like the SF90 Stradale, 296 GTB, LaFerrari & did announce its intentions of revealing the first fully electric Ferrari in 2025 (Though, this is a personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt, I do think that when they reveal the electric model & it shows insane performances generating insane sales numbers, Ferrari might either reconsider their stance OR the electric models to come will just outsell the rest of the Ferraris).
This approach was taken to adapt with the varying regulations across all markets Ferrari is operating in, which is a good strategic approach that will let Ferrari tap into & satisfy every market. As the EV revolution progresses, Ferrari's lineup expands, striking a delicate balance between tradition & innovation, staying true to its heritage while catering to all types of discerning clientele.
