Unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the most powerful V8 in Ferrari history, the Ferrari F8 is a mid-rear-engine sports car launched as the replacement for the Ferrari 488, utilising a number of exterior and performance improvements.

Although heavily based on the fantastic 488, Ferrari looked to the future by looking into their past, gaining inspiration and giving a nod to some of the most iconic vehicles from their history. Sporting a lexan clear engine cover which pays homage to the F40, a wraparound rear spoiler inspired by the 308 GTB and back to the twin-light clusters at the rear that we’ve seen on so many of their cars from the 70’s to early 80’s and late 90’s through to the late 2000s.

The F8 is 10% more aerodynamically efficient than the 488. The F8’s use of 6 underside vortex generators and active rear diffusers creates downforce and a vacuum that sucks the car to the road. The “aero package” also includes the front S-Duct pushing the front wheels into the road and forcing air over the windscreen to maximise performance and grip to help outclass its rivals.
