Genuine Ferrari Enzo Spare Parts

Named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari, the Enzo was developed in 2002. With a limited production run of only 400 units, 399 of the cars were sold through invitation to existing customers, specifically, those who had previously brought the F40 and F50 so not anyone could buy a Ferrari Enzo. The final build model was gifted to the Pope for charity in 2005.

The Enzo housed the fastest, most sophisticated engine and technology at the time. Like the original Testarossa, the Enzo had a similar, but more modern, wheel design. The wheels were held by a single nut and was the very first car to feature Brembo carbon ceramic disc brakes. The Enzo had the first of a new generation F140 B V12 engines based on the design of the V8 found in the Maserati Quattroporte. With 6.0 litres in displacement coupled with a six-speed, dual-clutch and paddle shifted transaxle, this produced a whopping 651 bhp rocketing the Ferrari Enzo 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and to a top speed of 218 mph.

Spare Parts for the Ferrari Enzo

To ensure the driver had maximum concentration when handling this beast of a car, Ferrari used a new Formula 1 style human machine interface system which improved the drivers’ capabilities and focused on achieving maximum performance without compromising on the car. The control panel was tailor-made for the driver to include technical features that are easily accessible from the wheel grip and a compact, mixed analogue-digital instrument panel, in the shape of a reconfigurable graphic screen to ensure maximum attention on driving.

The chassis was made entirely of carbon fibre and aluminium honeycomb sandwich panels gave the desired results in terms of stiffness, weight reduction and most importantly safety. Even the seats were made from carbon fibre with different backrest and seat sizing to ensure a perfect driving position which can be altered to each driver’s own driving style and body shape.

Experienced Ferrari Enzo parts supplier

This was a completely uncompromised car with outstanding performance and control. The Enzo’s front section was inspired by the Formula 1 car’s nose cone for its form and function and the composite flanks were sculpted to channel air flow for superb internal fluid dynamics. The tail end also did not have a big rear wing but instead had subtle aerodynamic aids and very efficient ground effects. Although the F50 will go down in history for being the first car to take Formula 1 technology to the road, it is the Enzo that focused more on combining the teachings of both track and road. For this, its cutting-edge solutions will go on to appear heavily on future Ferrari designs.
